Why have a cel like this... ...When you can commission a Don Moore original and have this.
Make a great cel... ...A breathtakiing one.
Without her globe... ...she's not fully "dressed."
A nice 16 field cel, but the image is very off center... but with a Don Moore original, the empty space is more room for Don to work his magic.
Without the background, Daphne's pallate swap seems disjointed... ...But with the Don Moore background, it makes much more sense.
Treat our girl right... Give her the background she deserves.
Don Moore can even turn a non-production sericel...
...into something truly unique.

"Don Moore is the finest background painter I have ever worked with." - Ron Dias
Don truly has a gift and hasn't lost a beat throughout the years. I'm still double-taking the detail as his background really brings the cel and Daphne to 'life.' - Brent Angie (client testimonial)
DON MOORE attended Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, El Camino College in Torrance, California and the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
He has worked in the film industry for twenty years with experience in graphics and matte painting for pictures such as TO THE MOON AND BEYOND (1964), SILENT RUNNING, CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND and STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE.
Don's work can be seen in these NIMH sequences: The Great Owl, The Fight (Jenner vs. Justin), Mr Ages' Lab, Inside The Rosebush, Nicodemus' Chambers, The Amphitheatre and The Boat Sequence. Don, in many cases, keyed sequences with Ron Dias & Dave Goetz following his style. He is a gifted artist with a quiet demeanor and a fantastic output. He has contributed to the style and look of DRAGON'S LAIR, SPACE ACE and DRAGON'S LAIR II: TIME WARP as well.
In the years following his time at Bluth, Don Moore did amazing background work for Disney for which he commanded a premium salary. Don's Disney career includes, "The Lion King", "Pocahontas", "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", "Hercules", "Tarzan", "Atlantis", and "Home On the Range." Don's work can be seen in the "Art of..." books for these respective films.
Don will happily sign your "Art of Lion King" (or other books that feature his art) free as part of your background order or for a fee of $15.00 plus the cost of return postage (which is subject to change at the whim of the Post Office.)
